Please Help! Auto To Manual Swap

ok i will be taking some of yalls advice and install a 5spd (exhaust will have to wait just a little while) some time soon i have done 7 engine swaps but no trans swap and would like some of you to help if you could. would any one have a write up or could some one tell me the parts i would need any help would be appreciated also could i fit a t2 manifold to my se or do they have different bolt patterns well im off to read my haynes manual

t2 lower intake manifold is a 4 port vs 6port n/a intake manifold, it won't work..



You need the pedals/tranny/driveshaft/hydralics



and you'll have to have holes drilled for the tranmission mount, since the mounting points are different..

sorry i ment to say turbo manifold will the turbo manifold bolt up? so the engine to trans bolts are the same between the auto and 5spd?

turbo exhaust manifold will bolt up....

The tranny will bolt right up, I dunno if the same bolts will work.. More than likely they will..

I think it's already there. You might just have to punch it out.

the tranny doesn't bolt right up, the mounts are in different places, you have to drill out the tack welds holding the tranny mounts in place on both the automatic and 5 speed then weld the 5 speed mounts into the car being converted over.
