I checked out the racing sleaves from Pineapple racing that create a more efficient flow of fuel for the 5th and 6th ports. I was curious if you could duplicate this with some epoxy or JB weld? do you think this would be a bad idea. I think on the video "overhauling your 13B" they mention removing the sleaves and JB welding a nice curve into the ports. However they suggest this on high RPM applications only.

If you do do it, just make sure the epoxy or JB weld will not drop out into you engine. That could really suck.

Yeah, if you remove the sleeves you should put some epoxy in there so that the air doesn't have to hit the end of the port and THEN go into the combustion chamber. Racing Beat likes to use Devcon when filling ports for PP motors. Mazdatrix uses JB Weld.

Whats the difference between Devcon and JB weld? Yea, that would suck if the **** fell into the housing. The JB weld should stick pretty good to the sleeves if they are nice and clean right?

I know people who use both. If you apply it properly it's not going to fall in.
