most of the info is there. I will add more information such as wiring diagrams ans such soon. I will do a full writeup in a couple weeks.
check it out. It works perfectly on my car. The idea is based on making the car start only using the reserved fuel pressure in the fuel lines. Then activating the fuel pump when the Key is in the ON position. Running.
One thing i have noticed which is no problem for me. If there is no fuel pressure maybe de to leaky fuel lines. the car will not start because fuel pressure is not present to push fuel into the fuel injectors. Just crankl the engine and then return the key to the ON position. Then Crank it again and it will start right up next time.
What ya think?

I've done that on my GXL for the last year, I picked up the idea from other RX7 owners in my local area.
Basically you add a generic on/off switch spliced into the single 12v signal wire to the fuel pump relay.
Also doubles as a theft deterrent.

I cant see a need for it at all, if the car is flooding out
all the time you have problems that should be addressed
all the time you have problems that should be addressed

Mine had weak spark for a while, I didn't know that was the reason until after I added the switch..

Most of the time it due to the APEX seals being warn out. and 99% of the time. someone is going to try to find a cheap way around it. If its your APEX seals. you dont want to rip down your motor when its a daily driver. Or you may have a sensor reading wrong. OR maybe you have a problem thatmazda cant find. Or maybe that isnt a problem and its just the way rx7s are(which is the truth) This is an easy way out which would eliminate the flooding problem. MOST people have flooding problems on hot days. WARM STARTS. We dont know why. I have run threw my engine so many times. And cant figure out why. I have 80-85 psi in both rotors. TPS is new and adjusted. and other sensors were replaced. Flooding is just a problem that has come with the rx7s. Even the Rx8s flood.
LOTS of people use switches. That is an excellent way of unflooding the car. But I like it to be AUTOMATIC. No SWITCH. Just a Relay doing all the work for you. all you do is turn the key.

Hey viper dude- Im sorry if everyone didnt kiss your ***
and tell you how great you are...but the truth is that if a car is
flooding all the time its a sign that something is wrong.
Sure you say it might not be a big deal and to keep driving the
car, but if one was to have this automatic flooding control
installed on thier car how would they know if something was
going wrong with the car?
If someone is already getting the flooding and they want to
install this automatic switch then so be it, I guess the same
person who installs a automatic switch would also be too
lazy to flip a switch whenever they tried to start thier soon to be
blown RX-7.
If you dont like this forum and people expressing thier opinions
and would rather have your ego boosted somewhere else then
dont let the door hit you in the *** on the way out

OMG...I smell evil forum in here. The guy never made a offensive remark to you at all. In fact, all he is doing is expressing his opinion. If you don't agree with than fine. Don't start attacking people just cause they are new. Jackass!
BTW, Viper I think you make a very good point.
