I am having issues with boost in my car. I just recently replaced a blown turbo on my car and I was only hitting around 3-4#'s of boost. Fixed a few vacuum leaks such as replaced the grommets on my injectors (ones on there not even fit for my car!) and we adjusted my bov harder since it was set on about the softest setting possible.....but im still only hitting about 6lbs.....the only possible thing i can think of is that I am missing 2 upper nuts on my exhaust manifold. Could this be my problem with boosting???

I know for a fact its a boost leak. You car really hear that sucker when you get on it, and if we disconnect the w/g line the sucker makes 17psi hehe.

no if it makes 17psi with the wg unplugged then you need a boost controller

With the w/g not opening(disconnected) ofcourse its gonna make insane psi. We just did it to see if it would make MORE than 6psi...

He wants to run it with whatever the stock w/g will run...

If what you are saying is you are missing 2 of the 4 manifold to motor nuts, then yes that is your problem. An exhaust leak before the turbo will cause sluggish and lower boost. If you are tuning it that way it will also effect wb readings.
