hey guys my name is cliff. i used to go onto fc3s.org years ago. i've had 2 88's 1 90 and my last baby was a mint 91 all sold and bought a 01 s2000 and sold that to buy my house. now i'm looking for a project but it's hard to find a half decent shell. i don't need carpet or interior just a flat shell. i have a heated garage that needs some company. haha. i just have to brush back up on the rotary quirks again. but i think i'm going to just put a v8 in it and call it a day. looking forward to meeting with some of you and possibly doing some business.

have a good day

Welcome back to Zoom Zoom world. I love the S2K, I spend a lot of time with the club out here on drives.

I would suggest also checking out norotors.com for a V8 swap forum.

Feel free to PM any swap questions.

Good luck shell hunting!

i did check the classifides, craigslist and ebay. everyone wants too much for a rusted non running car. i am a firm believer that if it doesn't run it should only be about 500 bucks. can't find one for less than 800. maybe this winter someone will drop their price. i was also looking at the 240 shell but those are harder to find and want more money! it's crazy. but i've decided on a 283 engine. i figure it's a small block and if done right can get it to almost tach up to 10k. so it's almost like have a rotary with a lot more torque haha. one day i'll get one. the one major thing i don't like about rx7's is that it's not a common car so it's harder to do meets and bar runs. the s2ki.com we had meets almost every week and it was seperated by area not just ap1 or ap2. i did find a 1st gen for 500 not sure how i feel about that style. it's almost like a datsun never been in a 1st gen any insight? i saw a super 7 flying down the pa turnpike today. sounded like a rotary but was flying by me so quick all i heard was SUPER loud exhaust.

thanks for the reply's
