New Here Whats Up....
#1
ok now i was driving around yesterday and i saw a white fc sitting in someone's driveway and i noticed it was a turbo II. now those thigns are hard as hell to find in my area LI, NY.
anyways i was wondering if anyone knows of any sites other than cars.com and autotrader.com to find a used FC.
and i also have 1 of 2 options i can either find one for around 1500-2500 and buy it now and then sell my car to pay my parents who would be lending me the money back.
or sell my car now and have about 5500-6000 to spend. i know it would be a lot easier to find one with 5k to spend but i figured i could buy a decent running one for cheaper then fix any problems and add some other thigns witht he money left over.
honestly im just confused. my friend has an fd and is on this forum (mazdamike) and when he got his he had a lot of problems w/ the engine and that is the only reason i would try and stay away from a cheap one.
all i know is that i want a rwd turbo car and the FC is looking like my best option. its just that they are soooo hard to find for a good price.
thanks for any help

I would try looking for a TII on here, or on (shudders) rx7club.com
You could always go N/A Powah! Would be less headaches in the long run. But granted, you will be buying a used car, and there will always be problems with it. Either new engine, or it could just need a new radiator or something else not as big.
Anyways, welcome the forum, and enjoy ya'self.

remember, ya pay now or ya pay later. a cheap car isnt cheap if the engine needs to be replaced. Are you familiar with rotaries, enough to know whether or not your getting suckered? This is very important. I cut the cost of my car down by 1/3rd just because I knew more about them than the salesman.
