no not too loud, as long as you have a muffler there, i mean i have a 13B racing beat header, striaght 2 1/2" pipe all the way back to a racing beat muffler, it's not loud at all, i'd say 25% louder then stock, not loud though! well worth it for the power increase

never know when you may need that converter and technically
its illegal for a junk yard to sell converters off cars.

Too late, already gutted, it does a slightly different tone than stock, I will have to see what it will do when I get the new pipe and muff. If it is too loud, I will just have to put a high flow converter back on or I may purchase a tunable muffler when I do the conversion. Does anyone have a single out. I was leaning toward that option. Is there a difference in performance compared to the y pipe and dual tips?
