1988 RX-7 Turbo2 (stock)

I am experiencing occasional flooding problems when trying to start a warm engine after it sits for 30 minutes or so. I replaced the engine about 1 year ago but reinstalled the old (original) injectors after having

all 4 clean and balanced. I have a fuel cut-off switch that will allow me to get the car started if it's flooded but I don't want to damage a new engine with constant flooding problems.

I fairly sure this problem is caused by leaky injectors.....could anyone on this list please recommend some good injectors other than the outrageously priced stock injectors that sell for #300.00 + each!

Thanks for any guidence.

You can pull your fuel pump and take the check valve out this lets the fuel flow back to the tank. This will stop flooding from leaky injectors. this will give you time to research replacement injectors if you find them let us know.

just high impedance (saturation type) nippon denso injectors work. You can vary the size if you want depending on your mods, contact rceng.com

if you vary the size get a S-AFC or something to control them, it's no big deal.

I actually have a set of 4 injectors from an 88 GTU that have been cleaned by RC Engineering, I was going to use them in my car but I've bought a set of low impedance injectors from RC Engineering because I can use them with the standalone engine management now.

PM me if you want to buy them, $150 for all 4.

BTW I just noticed you have a T2, these are not likely the same cc/min so they probably won't work for you, nevermind.
