need help!install mods and now feels the same

i have 88 t2 stock and did:

wastegate porting correctly

3"pwr srs corsport cat-back 3"all the way 3" rb downpipe

autometer boost gauge

apexi intake w/ cold air box mod

ok prior the car ran great-5.5 psi pull til 7k,160k on the mtr but runs strong,now after the mods the car seem to be pulling the same it feels like but with now 8.6 cuz no fcd yet but if i stay under that 8psi its still does not feel any better than before mods and i know i need to get the fcd,please give me your advise as to what next and why it feels slow.thanks guys for help

you might be hitting boost cut

ya get an FCD (fuel cut defenser), cause you have an s4 wich cuts off after 8.6 psi of boost. Then anything higher you may want to upgrade fuel pumps, also, rewire it so you are for sure getting full power to ur pump.

get the fcd then youll notice the difference cause you can go over like 5k rpm before hitting a wall.



my friend is in the same situation but is too lazy to buy an FCD. my n/a beats his.
