iight.. mY car goes BEEp in the night lol. When i had gotten my car back from long island after my hose erupted in a furious flame lol my car has been beeping when i drive. I notice because my steering wheel is hard as hell to turn, for a period of time and then it goes away. either by me shutting of the car or by jiggling the wheel from side to side. I dont know if the car just needs some P/S fluid or if its the AAS suspension acting up. THere is also a very loud pulsating kinking noise that is coming from the front right wheel, that i may have mentioned in other posts. It sounds kinky (bad rx7) noise, and i feel the pedal pulsate when i brake. Is it the rim that is bents, or is it the caliper hardware which is missing or either damaged. Or is it my that my pads are worn. My brakes were squeaking and i checked them a lil while ago and the pads had meat on them left. So all these things neeed my immediate attention. I ignored the smell of burnt rubber that eminated from my hood. which later wound up being that i needed new belts and thats why my car flooded since it abruptly shut off on me. My car has a bigger eratic idle when i start it some times it goes down to 100 RPM, or it just idles below the 750 RPM Mark. When i hit the gas the pedal doesnt feel as responsive and smooth as before. So i dont want somthing bad to happen to me on the highway or sumthing and i want to address the problem ASAP. SO all ideas and METHODS FOR SOLVING them wil be widely appreciated by ME lol. and NICK!!

AUCILIO Por Favor

PS. Remember I have no FUND$....

I'm no expert with the power steering systems but I beleive that beeping/hard to turn deal is fluid related.

"Kinking" noise? Like metal on metal? Like something loose maybe?

Could be loose lugnuts combined with not having retaining screws holding the rotor to the hub. Or loose caliper maybe, or more than likely, warped rotor. That wouldnt explain the noise though.

As for idle, the starter motor turns the engine over at 250rpm so your car definitely wouldnt run at 100.

Don't know what to tell on that except look for vac leaks, make sure all throttle body ***** is set properly, and maybe run through some spray TB cleaner.

Good luck with it!

you say "i dont know if the car needs some P/S fluid"

******* CHECK IT, idiot, lol.

Check the fluid, check the tension on the belt.

The brakes, once again- are the shims there? Did you get some shims yet?

Did you at least try some anti-squel on the back of the pads?

Are they the right pads? Is the hardware intact?

My advice-

-get some new pads, I dont care how new your pads are

-get a hardware kit with teflon shims.

-get your rotors turned.

Your talking a total of about $60 for all that with some

el-cheapo brake pads, if you cant afford $60 for your brakes,

you shouldnt be driving the car. Never mind if you hurt yourself, you

might hurt someone else.

at least my bicycle comment didnt set you off, I ride a bicycle to work, it's good exercise and free... lets my car get finished before I start driving it.

seriously though, if you're short on cash, a old FC isn't the most practical solution for transportation. But any car is going to need regular maintenance like brake pads and such... if those are hard to afford to keep the car safe even, then something has to give, either a cheaper form of transportation or more income.
