recently, i just put in a stock exhaust system on my car. when i bought the car, it had custom single exhaust system. before i switched the exhaust, my oil pressure gauge worked fine. but now, it doesnt even move. it stays at 0. im wondering if there is anything on the exhaust system i couldve forgotten to plug in that has anything to do with the oil pressure. TIA

The wire for the oil pressure guage plugs in on the other side of the engine, probably nothing to do with the exhaust change out, but it could have just worked its self loose.

yeah they fall off all the time, you can probably just hook it back up.

Funny that it would stop working after exhaust work.

Mine didn't work at all when I got my car. Turned out to be the sender.

id give you a pic but i have no way to get the pic from my cam to my comp here at work so ill try to describe it.

its down past the oil fill neck, theres a round thing with a nail head looking thing coming off of it, thats the sender. now look and see if there is a dangling wire, and if there is slide the connector onto that nail head thing.

its right around the area where the oil filter is. On the driver side of the engine. Its a lil circle contact where the sender just slides right in. Im at werk right now so i cant get you any pics. Just follow along back of the engine close to the oil filter area.. The connector is like a inch long and has a grove in it where u can slide it over the oil contact thingy

Hope u find it

EDIT: Speaking of oil pressure? The higher the pressure does it necissarily means better for the car?
