hey, I'm just curious if anyone has bought a mazda remanufactured for their cars?, i'm looking into buying one, but I was just curious about a few things

The mazda reman I had was built with all new parts, even all the bolts were new.

I remember jim telling me about a guy with a FD that

had something like 400hp on a mazda reman. motor

and had no problems.



If you get a dealer discount I bet they are a good deal.

engines are one of those things that sometimes get deeper discounts.

Hmmm. How much fer one o' them thar Mazda remanufactured wankels? Can you still get 'em for the T2?

mallory mazda told me 2200 to the shop i want, and to send my engine back to them. I was just curious how easy it is to put one in, like starting it up for the first time and such. I've heard that rebuilds are usually hard to start up the first time.

Ones with used parts are hard to start. Not engines with all new seals/housings..
