Yea so i got some 890cc "pro import" injectors from Marren Fuel Injection. The 1680's Pro Import seem to drop in just fine. but the 890's i got for primaries dont look normal to me, and i dont think they sit right, they barely go into the int. iron.

here's a pic, any thoughts? it just doesnt seem to sit far enough into the iron to me, and hits the iron.

is that an oring on the tip? can you change it? what are you wearing? the bottom seal on the injector *mostly* just has to seal vacuum leaks, the factory fit is pretty loose.

Sweet, you be the ghinea pig for me I have the same ones. as long as they fit in the fuel rail with no leaks, and the iron is sealled you should be ok.

That is the "injector seal"/oring, same one mazdatrix sells (i have 8 from mazdatrix that i ordered for another motor).

I forgot to stack the injector diffuser thing in there. I just figured the tip of the injector should sit at the bottom of the hole, not near the top just didnt make sense to me.

guess ill just have to see if it works, the oring seems to seal it, fits pretty snug and it fits snuggly into my supernow rails as well. it just sits awkward on the iron but the tip is inside the injector hole, like i said i just dont think it sits far enough down into it, like the seal/oring sits just below the lip of the hole.

Can you take a pic of it side by side with the stock one and see if certain dimensions are similar?

Here you go, the stock one is signigicantly longer, but i don't think the dimensions pintle part of the injector are as critical, the shorter measurement is rougly the same .045" out, not a huge amount for this purpose. I would think they should work.

Kevin

Edit, the stock injector the smaller measurement should be2.420
