Lightweight Pullies?

Some of my friends sing praises about them (though none of them have em). How effective are these light weight pullies, I could see them maybe producing some better response time, but as for a significant hp gain I just cant fathom it.

I had them on my other car. I plan on getting them on my current FD not for the horsepower but because the claim it is for reliabilty purposes and I can see how that is possible. PLus they colored ones look cool

they usually get hp by slowing down the water pump, and alternator

They work the same way a lightened flywheel does basically. Although, i dont know how it is for rotaries but the big debate on piston engines is that they debalance the engine and you have baering wear.

I have the RB alt and e shaft pullies. I'm not sure about gains since I did some other stuff at the same time I put them on. Some people comment about charging system probs when underdriving the alternator.. I haven't had any problem with this.



I've never heard of balancing issues on rotaries Dramon.. I believe thats all taken care of by the e shaft counterweights.
