Just wondering how difficult it is to replace the water pump gasket... is it as easy as on a piston?

if its leaking you probably need to replace the whole thing. its a good idea while your at it anyway

Labor is the same, so you might as well put a new pump on, besides, its probably leaking from the weep hole not the gasket.
