I've looked through the internet for a cheaper way to get a new engine for my car, and came across j-spec engines. Are they worth the money? And are they a lot of trouble to swap in? I've heard from some people that most of them are blown, so when you get them they're crap.

I don't know, can I get some help on this?

well its a used engine, so you dont know how many miles it has on it, or if it was maintained. you are basically gambling. i have a good running jspec 20b in my fc, but vosko had like 3-4 in his fc and they were all bad.
