Well, the deal is- I was driving to work yesterday and my car suddenly cut off. i was just cruising down the highway, about 55 in 4th gear. the tach all the sudden dropped to 0. i tried popping the clutch to see if possibly it would jump start. this is when my guess work started. with the clutch out, key on, motor rotating, no tach and no motor running. hmm.. something is wrong with the ignition if the tach isnt working but the motor is turning over. i dont know if you notice but even when the starter is turning over the tach moves a little on these cars. right now, mines not moving whats so ever. i've changed both coils, crank angle sensor and computer today with no luck. any suggestions as to what this is? AHH, help please!

i believe that the trailing coil sends that tach signal, i dont have an FSM at my place. So start checking wires and look for a blown fuse....basics first
