Thumbs up

I thought I saw something on the forum a while ago, tried a search and got nothing, so I'm posting.

Been looking at them for a while now and wondering if anybody has gotten one. I've been thinking about doing a P-port, but if I can do a hella bridge with a goog manifold and TB setup, it could be easier, cheaper, and more drivable. They look realy nice and like they would do the job. The 55mm would flow enough air. They flow 691 square mm. That should be plenty.

Just wondering and any feedback would be great.

heres a pic

www.twminduction.com sells the throttle body and air horns... the rest is pieced together by yours truely.

theres probably well over $1000 in the intake. I want to say the TWM stuff including the horns was around $700. It's not bolt-on, there is some fabrication of custom parts required, and you need to obtain the hardware yourself, the TWM doesng come with any nuts or bolts other than the two bolts for the TPS.

The IDA sells for $575 on ebay and they also offer alot of different options for it. It also includes the horns, fuel rails, and throttle linkage and braket.

well thats cool, you should give it a try. You need more than just the TB and fuel rails etc. You'll need a IDA manifold if it's a IDA format. You also need injectors if you don't have enough already, and a TPS that will bolt onto that thing... and air filtration needs to be dealt with. Don't forget this setup will need a speed/density ECU, so you'd need a haltech or electromotive whatever.

Who ever this person is on ebay offers alot of stuff. Here is a link to an old auction

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=2428747307

no one ever buys it so I don't know what it will do. I can buy it all from him, but the ems will be a microtech.

I hope it will work well, I think that I will do it.

I shouldnt have said you need injectors if you don't have enough, you will need injectors if the injector style on the TB is different than the ones you already have. Like with the TWM the TB is machined for bosch injectors, the FC stock has nippon denso, so I bought bosch ones for the TWM. Injectors are not cheap!

They are machined for bosch, but I have 4 already. I just don't know about the sizes. I've got 2 500 and 2 720. That should be enough for now. Plus I won't be boosting alot for a while, so it should be a start.
