How do I position the E-shaft and everything else that needs to be done to install it? There are marks on it from the nut that locks it into place so I know what position the CAS has to go I just don't know how everything else has to be (E-shaft, etc.).

Thanks again

there is a yellow mark for 5 btdc, and there is a pointer on the front cover. you need to line the two up

I read that in the book but there is no yellow mark. There are two dings in the pulley like 1.5 cm apart. Could one of those be it?

if it's the stock pulley, clean the dings off... should have marks. unless it's in really bad shape.

that's a good possibility but i'd still clean it and look.

the yellow mark should be the ding closest to you if you were standing on the driver side of the car.

Line up the first ding to the marker on the front cover. The second ding is about 1.5cm to the left (if you were standing at the front of the car). On the CAS there are also two dots, line up the one on the CAS shaft, and the one closest to it on the gear.

(thanks blink )

Also take off the black cover ontop. When you press the CAS in, youll see it rotated a gear. Twist the CAS left or right to get the gear back into the position it was in before you pushed it down. Now bolt it down and plug it in.
