how to tell if its low imp or high imp

i picked up an s4 jdm t2 motor and im jus wondering if its high imp or low imp and how can i tell? thanks

wahtre the numbers on the sides of them? and what colors the top?

yeah you have to look at it. you should be able to see with a flashlight

if they are lows (purple or tan tops) you will be useing a resistor pack if there highs (redtop) the resistor pack will be bypassed.

what happens if you cross them? anything bad or jus wont work? btw i jus swapped out myu jdm harness for a us spec one but i dont know wich wires go to the primaries and wich ones go to the secondaries, can anyone help?

alright so this is super old but purple top r low imp and need a resistor pack right? because i jus read that purple top were high imp and dont need one? thanks for the clarity
