Has anyone installed one of these? i have an 87 turbo and i was wondering if the HKS fcd is good and how it was to install. my car runs like **** after 3500 rpm and i have a manual boost controler and i think my car is getting fuel cut. will this fix it?

The fuel cut defenser allows the car to boost over 10 psi. I believe the stock ECU cuts out fuel around 9.5? Somewhere around there.

If it runs like crap over 3,500rpm and your not boosting near 9psi, you gots another problem my friend. Most likely a large vacuum leak, faulty injectors, cracked turbo inlet duct, the list goes on.

if youre hitting fuel cut at 3500rpm then you have your manual controller cranked up pretty high.

get a boost gauge before you blame the boost. and if you have a boost gauge find out how much psi youre hitting before it falls on its face.

find out at what boost it stumbles at. if its near 10psi then fuel cut is your problem. if its not near 10 psi then id still say possible wiring issue with the secondaries.
