I want to take off the exhaust manifold for a J-spec TII. I am afraid I'm gonna have to take off the turbo with the manifold. Is there a way to get around taking off the turbo?

Thanks Rob

i don't think its possible. the turbo is very easy to unbolt shouldn't take more than a few minutes. a few manifold bolts are not accessible unless the turbo is removed

Yeah, the turbo is attached to the manifold. It has to be removed to get to the manifold.

Manifold is held on by like 4/5bolts, no problem, the turbo comes off w/ the manifold..if the motor is in the car its about an hour job, if its out of the car, its a 15min job.....

I took out my turbo and manifold in 20 - 30 minutes give or take, and it was in the car. This was the stock turbo.
