Has Anybody Tried Those Cheap Air Filters On Ebay

I saw some real cheap cone air filters on ebay for like 10-15 bucks which include the air filter and adapter. Are those safe to use or are they bogus. There were also some k&N kits for $35-40 I would feel more comfortable with, but if the cheap ones are good Id rather buy that for now.

How long have you had it on. By the way I have an 88 convertable also.

Ive had mine on for about 4-5 months and ive been on some long trips ect with it. Ive never had a single problem.

yeah i get mine (cheap 20 doller filter) at a ricer place down in town called Xtream Image.



Man the place sucks, but hey the filters are cheap... i dont bother cleaning them, i just buy a new one. 20 bucks aint that bad...

I also have one, my only complaint would be if you get the one with the plastic adapter it's slightly smaller than the stock afm opening, but a dremel and about 10 minutes will fix that
