Unhappy

Hey guys,

Pulled my car out of winter storage today.... She lit right up with no problems, well at least not starting wise.... Anyway I noticed all by brake fluid was missing, car bone dry. So I drove it down to get the brakes rebleed. Two problems I did noticed was that A my car runs cooler than before, very noticable.... Thermostat? Second thing was that when I drove it suddenly an alarm went off... Five beeps, pause, five beeps, pause etc.. My trouble lights are a pain and never know if working or not.... Does anyone know what causes this alarm?????

Thanks

Serge

Your thermostat may be stuck open, mine is and it runs just above the C all the time but who knows how accurate the guage is. The electical systems are not too good in these cars. As for the alarm, is it the actual stock alarm system or that same buzzer you hear when you rev it too high or the car is low on coolant (if you've ever heard that). My buzzer sometimes will come off and on for no reason at all.

The beeps are the power steering computer. It's under the steering column...make sure it's plugged in, and make sure your ps fluid is topped off.
