I finally got the pics of my car now. Its a little bit different now. The intercoole is quite nice. The install took me a few hours to do. It took longer o fine the pipes and to paint them than the install.

The first pic is of the pipes and intercooler without the bumper.

Second is a better shot of the engine bay with my polished manifold and throttle body that took me a week to do.

Third is of my car with the install somplete with the bumper installed

The last one is just to show what I started with. The car after a few months of me owning it. Just a little different now.

Sorry for all dial up users. I am one also that has been cursed with not living in an area that knows what technology is.

Thanks man. Its about the same size as the greddy. We measured Rotarymans and its a 1/2 an inch taller and 5 inchs shorter (the endtanks arent as long, but the core is the same length)

Nice job. Where did you pick up the cooler. What are the specs on the unit (LxWxH)? I am in the market for one of those, really nice looking.

I got it off of ebay. I have to look for it to tell you who i bought it from. They sell intercoolers all the time on there so if you search through it, youll find it.

The core is 24x12x3. endtank to endtank is around the 31 range. Its got 2.5 inch inlet and outlet. Its got 2 bracket on the bottom and a bolt hole on the top. I bought it for $320 shipped. It took 3 days to ship it from Canada. Not to bad i think.

Lol, roadkill's gonna hate me....

..MY opinions on the intercooler...It's def a good deal for what you get. HOWEVER, they claim it as being a 3" thick core, however, the core itself is maybe 2.75" and the endtanks are 3" thick..this leaves an overhang if you look at the IC from the top...it does have an internal fin design, but is like "every-other one" kinda deal..also, sloppy welding left slag on a few of the fins where no airflow will go through(not bad, only like 3-5 fins maybe)...

the endtanks are too small i think too(bad for pressure drop)...

Ok, sorry Jon...no more busting on it. With this said, it is still a good deal cheaper then a GReddy, HKS, APEXi, etc core and if he catches a nasty rock it wont hit his wallet as hard as mine to replace the core..

It is a big improvement over the stocker for sure..it is worth the buy if your looking for an alternative to the more pricey kits..

DONT KILL ME JON but u already knew my opinions on it...lol...

oh, and i just said that stuff cuz i feel everybody should hear a lil something about what they buy before buying it..i wasnt bashing on roadkill's car..just giving honest input...

Oh yea, i'll also add this..

The thing about doing a custom FMIC like u see above is you get to remove some of the unneeded bends you get with a kit. I love my greddy..its awesome, but I think they could have removed a lil outta each bend..ah well, nothing a lil more boost wont fix

Man Bill, you should really learn your facts before you post. I just measured my intercooler. the CORE is 3 1/16 thick and the endtanks at the welds is 3 15/16. It does have some splatter, not slag. Slag doesnt arrise when you MIG. Only when you use the flux core.

As far as the internal fin design. Its not every other runner. It is every runner. It just has long runners. Hers a pic of the internal fins. The company email is on the pic also, so contact them or find thier auctions.
