FC3S Project
#1
hi guys!
first up, i'm Ferdi aka Furb, age 24, from Holland.
don't ask me why i haven't found this forum untill today, but i am the proud owner of a 91 FC3S TII for 2,5 years now and i'm totally in love with it!
i will give u a quick look into my project from feb 2005 untill this day and will be doing regular updates! please sit back and ENJOY
Bought it in feb 2005 in an original and remarkable state
Car was imported from Germany in 2002 and then had a full rebuild, the rest of the car was also brought up into shape
When I bought the car, the engine had only 9200km on it
This is what it looked like back then:
Did some minor changes over time, but saved my money for a long time and then it all went by pretty fast in a short matter of time
Jan 2006 the car was pretty much still stock, but the spec list has grown quite a bit since then!
Some gadgets:

Then the suspension was in for some major changes.
Silkroad coilovers from Japan, custom made strut-braces, vented brake discs.
And ofcourse a nice set of wheels, I wanted to go as wide as I could possibly go without rolling the fenders. After searching and researching for a long time, I got what I wanted!
Only thing was: they didn’t come in black, so I had to get them painted right away…
Front: 18 x 8,5J offset 25 with Falken FK451 225/40R18
Rear: 18 x 9,5J offset 25 with Falken FK451 255/35R18

The result:
The front strut brace i made was made of steel and i wanted something new made in aluminium, so its off to the workshop again! While is was at it, I also made a nice radiator panel
Then the car was finished on the outside and i could finally take it out for a spin, cause DAMN i missed that!
