ive only seen one walbro fail. not to worried about it...
i agree with needing a bigger fuel line. so on yours, did you run 2 feeds all the way up? as in, one pump per fuel rail, and then join the return with a Y fitting? I ran two -8's from the tank (one from each pump) to the back of my fuel filters, then after the filter went to -6 since i know two -6 lines will handle what i need, but its nice to know i can change to -8 without redoing everything. I then ran each feed line into a rail, one for primary one secondary. Then take the return line from each rail and attach to the side of the regulator, then run a -6 return all the way to the rear. As for needing a huge return line, the only time you'll be returning a large amount of fuel is part throttle cruise, majority of fuel will be consumed. if anything run a -8 return which would be able to handle almost anything. people put too much thinking into return lines, lots of systems are returnless nowadays. jw: whos three ACTUAL walbro units did you see fail? remember ebay walbros arent walbros 75% of the time. kevin. |
obviously the way you did it is the better way. but im still wondering would the other way work if i increased the feed line to -6 all the way to the rails?
ive seen it done this way on LS1's, suburu's. a couple fords, but i dont know theyre stock feed line sizes...or if they enlarged them |
