Does Mazda sell oil pan drain plugs?...just the bolt.
looked on mazdatrix.com but didn't see them...could be that i wasn't looking hard enough, though. maybe i'll try the dealer...
mine is in ok shape but I'd like to get a new one...
thanks

you can get something similar at auto parts stores
I got one that a hose with fitting screws on, and activates the valve...only bad part was that I overtightened the plug portion and stripped it, causing it to leak

Isnt having a screw on cap just like having a drain plug? Besides a drain plug is easy to take out plus it is magnetic and it will catch some of the meal crap possibly floating around in your pan.
