if i thought ss321 was to expensive why could i not use ss 304?
It seems to be about 1/3 the price from http://www.burnsstainless.com/304tubing/St...traight304.html
mechanically speaking they are really similar
the melting point of ss321 is 1400-1425C while ss 304 is 1400-1420
the only main difference i can find is the coefficient of thermal expansion of ss321 is 16.6 vs ss304's 17.2 at 100c. these numbers get closer as temp increases. i dunno... i doubt the difference in the amoutn the materials expand would be noticable.
everyone says to use ss321 but it doesnt quite all add up to me. im sure im missing something..... does anyone know?

depends on what housing you have and what exhaust you want to run. most outlets are 3" but some are 2.5"
oh and dont buy from burns stainless, they are the most expensive place you could possibly find, just look around and you will be able to find some cheaper prices.
