Car wont start with out a boost. but shuts off as soon as i disconnect cables. Brand new battery gets drained every time the car runs. HELP!

also look at your battery cables, the charging systems on the fc's is um not so hot.

I found frayed wires going to my alternator, and one wire was disconnected. A little snip and pinch is all it took to fix it (vasectomy?).
