Clicking noise...
#1
Ok, this morning i was taking apart some stuff on my car to try and locate a vaccuum leak... or atleast what i think to be a vaccuum leak. If my car has been sitting for awhile when i start it back up it will idle a little high about 1.3rpm vs when its been running awhile 900rpm. And after you start it it will start to kinda pudder. The idle will go up and down, up and down... etc..
That happend on my gsl-se and it turned out to be a leak in a vaccuum hose. But thats kinda off the topic, btw, i didnt find the leak... so it still does it
Ok, so now to the topic, I took off my airbox, looked at the hoses around that area didnt find anything, so i put it back on and took off my intercooler, looked around.. didnt find anything. I put it back on, and now when i turn the key halfway it makes a clicking sound. I located where the sound is coming from, but i dont know how to fix it, or what caused it. It sounds like its coming from one of the wire connections, or right under it. Its a really fast click, click, click... I can feel the actual clicks on the metal piece that holds out another connection. I circled the spot where its coming from and the metal piece i can feel the clicks on.
