Cheapest Place To Get Ss Brake Lines?

Lowest I have found recently is $84 from mazdatrix. I could have swore I saw them in the $60 price range on some site before.

I'm pretty sure those Mazdatrix DOT ones are the cheapest

out of curiosity, how hard is it to put the Ss lines in, everywhere I go they always say have them installed by a "competent mechanic" is it something that should not be attempted by a do it yourselfer??? whats the deal?

only "tricks" with them is to take them out of the package, let them

straighten out from being in the package ( unless they come straight )

install them making sure they are routed correctly

and to properly bleed the system after.



the hardest part, which isnt so hard, is to make sure to bleed the system

correctly. And on a older car, the trick would be to make sure the bleeder

screws turn, I would go under there with some PB Blast or similar product

a few days before and spray down the bleeder screws.

to add to rob's points....you dont want the brake like rubbing a tire, or crimping up when your suspension moves do you?
