If you had a full exhaust system with a high flow cat, but also had an open wastegate, how much would it affect your total power output? For some reason, I want to have a clean car, but I also can't give up the speed, so I need to compromise. It seems like the cat would give a little lag due to exhaust restriction, but probably not a whole lot because they don't really become a bottleneck until higher RPMs. Any opinions will be discounted and argued against...I mean appreciated.

that would work, you would still loose a little power, but not as much as you would with an internal wg

The full exhaust with high flow cat should be okay on power. Not as good as exhaust with no cat, but a lot cleaner. The open wastegate won't hurt or help power since it's allready bypassing the turbine, it's just gonna be loud. You could have it rejoin the exhaust after the cat but before the muffler.

you can! it will loose a little power but that might actually be a good thing for you. you also need an air pump and that no big deal now either
