Car starts, then idles, the dies?
#1
So, i recentely rebuilt an S4 NA 13b and dropped it into a 1991 S5 rx7. The car worked fine until my lowerintaker manifold cracked, causing me to buy a new one. I did not purchase a stock replacment, instead i bought a custom made intake manifold. It gave me 15 more horses right off the start. Anyways, I tinkered with the fuel pump a little, replacing it with another used one, and the car ran fine. But one day I get into the car, and it starts. It idles fine and sounds good, but then i noticed that my rpm gauge on the dash was at zero rpm. When i saw this i tapped the gas to see if the rpm gauge would budge, but it didnt. Instead, the car just died. As if the fuel supply was cut off. I went under the hood and squezzed on the fuel lines, to find that there was no pressure at all in either the primary or secondary fuel lines. I tried restarting the car, but it did nothing but crank. I waited a day and went back to it, and tryed to start it. To my surprise the car started right up, but then does the same thing with the rpm gauge, and then the car dies. Some extra info- I premix my fuel with oil, and i havent replaced my fuel filter ever since Ive bought the car. So it may have an 18 year old fuel filter in it. please help me!!!

I replaced the duel filter, yet the problems stll exists. Im going to replace the fuel relay, since someone sayed the same thing happened to them, and when they replaced it, it started right up.
