So. I'm trying to trim out all the **** I dont need on my car. Since the power steering doesnt work, I want to pull it out. But, the problem is... I dont know how. or if it's going to adversly effect the car. I want to get the car as light as I can, so I can finish my drift project.

I didnt think it would be that easy. As everything else seems to be really really complicated. What else is driven by that belt? I havent been able to identify everything on the engine yet. But there are two pulleys and then the main pulley. One is the Power steering pump the other... I cant identify.

Thanks for the help btw.

Its and idler pulley. Nothing else is driven by that belt. If you cant figure it out maybe you should leave it alone

i just changed mine to a manuel steering rack. I know not everyone has this laying around but it is better than just taking off the pump. in my opinion anyways
