Ok, after much frustration dealing with ground wires, I finally got the SE-X to crank over! I didn't really expect it to start, because I have 3 open vacum nips on the UIM that need to be capped, and no BAC valve(big hole in UIM left)...however, there were some things that kind of made me wonder...

1. My new oil injection lines were still clean..no oil went through them while I was cranking, is this normal? Should I prime the system somehow?

2. The car didn't even sputter like it was going to start...I'm guessing no spark due to lack of battery power..I was lucky to have enough juice to crank the motor over!

3. What all would keep the car from starting...MAF, CAS, ???

Actually I think the car would start then die if the afm was not hooked up. I think it wouldn't get spark w/o the cas, I mean thats the ecu trigger..... Where's mike at

Yes, where is mike indeed!

But I'm going to reinstall my CAS just to be sure it's ok...it just seemed like no spark. I know if got fuel as I could hear it rushing under the car, and then up to the engine....

Hook up a timing light, and crank it over. To see if you are getting spark.

Yea...that's what I was thinking about the BAC, lol...I mean, it only leaves 2 huge holes in the UIM...lol. I'll let you all know how things go after tomorrow...

thanks!
