break in period, S5 T2 Fresh rebuild
#1
I have heard at one time or another that 5000 miles is the break in period for the rebuilds. I also heard I would be safe with 1000. What should I wait for? car will be done SOON, finally...

A properly clearenced engine needs only enough break in to make sure its not going to puke coolant/oil or
whatever else.
whatever else.

cool, thanks for the replies. I just got a basic rebuild done to it. Replaced all the seals and what not. the bearings were still well within specs so they were left alone. I just wanted to make sure I dont have to wait like too long before I can start in on the higher boost. I think I should be alright at like 1.5k or so. anyway,
