As the title says, I have the chance to get my hands on a black, immaculate, turbo RX7, with less than 22k miles on the clock. It drives/feels/looks brand new, one older owner close to my house. I know it is hard to evaluate these cars, and I want it. what do you guys think is a realistic price for this car? I've been looking for my second RX7 for a while now, so pretty excited to come across this one.

Also, if I end up with it, what do you guys recommend in terms of maintenance, I am planning to flush all fluids and take it from there really.

Thanks for the help.

No thoughts on this one, really just looking to hear general thoughts, I like the car and I want to make sure that if I am getting it, I am also caring for it the right way.

Honestly i would take it directly to mazda and have them do a complete check on it, its worth it in this case.

After checking it and going through it and finding only very small issues (two small parking dents on one door, cracked inside mirror covers and several paint chips on the door) I could not resist, so I am the proud owner of the my second rotary. Previous owner did not have much in terms of records, but really, with 21k miles, guess there isnt much to do on it, even has a car cover and the original tires. This thing feels and drives like new, sounds great, really tight gearbox and much faster than my old 12A. It's gonna be so hard not to put my miles on this car.

Here are some more pics

You will want to do a LOT of maintenance work since its been sitting so long. Everything rubber should be replaced, I have recently did a few low mileage FCs, one burnt from a leaking PD( change that too)...

That's a hell of a find with that low miles !!

If price is right, I'd jump on it.

Thanks, I agree with you on this one and, while the previous owner was a car collector and assured me the car was regularly started, and driven and fluids changed, I have no doubt that more is needed. I went and checked out your store, pretty impressive collection of cars that you guys worked on.

I am in portland, OR, close to Corksport, and Pineapple, so I will take the car there to have all fluids flushed and see what else they recommend. What do you recommend/have done to the lower mileage rotaries that come through your shop? I want to make sure I take care of this car and I am not planning to put a lot of miles on it, it will be a weekend car without a doubt. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
