I have a beeping being emitted from the dash buzzer. It comes on only when my lights are on (parking or all) and beeps constantly with no pauses. I've checked all fluid levels (including power steering) and all exterior lights are in working order. My thoughts are that there may be a dash light out (I can't see anything though) or else it's overdrawing my alternator. FSM was moderately helpful so far but lacks specifics. Any ideas or experience with this? Thanks.

Nope, no pauses. It's a constant beeping. Beep beep beep beep beep beep beep ...

I thought the PS code was 6 beeps then a pause?

Edit: Is it characteristic of that code to only come on when the lights are on too?

try this, have the car off and leave the lights on. see if the beeper continues, sounds like a lost connection in the headlight switch, like th ereminder that you shut the car off and the lights are still on. You may have a broken connection in the headlight switch.

OOoh, good call. Unfortunately it's an intermittent problem (sometimes the beeping just fizzles out or doesn't happen at all) and it seems to not be happening this morning. I'll pull it out and check the circuits this weekend. Good idea, thanks.
