My bac valve's resistance is quite off. Now my question is, does it still work or not??? If I remove it would the engine work the same???

My idle hunts when cold and I'd like to get that stoped. The a/c makes the idle go down a bit but since its winter...who cares! Will there be any side effects to deleting it(electric load vs rpm-it controls that right?)

I'm only looking at 2 options here. Either delete it or leave it alone....I'm not spending any money on a new one(probably not even used)

TIA

the surging is probably the throttle position sensor.

to test the bac valve hook up 12v and a ground and see if it clicks, if it does the valve is good
