aye cap'in we got a leaker! (cold flooding)
#1
i watched pirates ok, let it go....
anyway,
have a 88 rx7 n/a with a 91 n/a engine swapped into the 88's wiring
so for all intents and porposes i have an 88, electrical ecu wiring injectors ect. all 88
now my car likes to flood. it isnt low compression or i would have had a hell of a time putting out 165 whp on stock ports.
now it only really likes to flood on cold morning starts (55f or less)
now i have a fuel cut off switch, i rev the engine to about 3k until it dies to purge the remaining fuel,
and i also have the 3b or 3c pin removed from the ecu so it wont use as much fuel on start up.
so it works like a charm in mild-warm weather, in cold weather it has nothing.
any ideas?
