AAS with Aftermarket Suspension
#1
Hey, I have an 86 GXL and I want to put maybe some Tein Flex Coilovers on my car and I was wondering if the stock AAS will work with the adjustable shocks and I really want to stay away from scrapping the AAS if at all possible. Also, I was wondering what the response time for the AAS is and if that time can be lowered by any circuit modifications or anything like that. I am basically looking at Tein Flex, and Driftmasters. So if anyone has this wired up or has done anything similar please help me out here.

in theory you could, all the AAS is is a stepper motor to turn the adjuster screw on the shocks.
in reality the system sucked to begin with, and you need to make sure the AAS doesnt turn the adjusters too far or not enough, plus you still need to adapt the two together.
nice idea, but its kinda not worth doing, imo
