Im selling my 88 rx7 because I need too move out and need a more economical... Im wondering what its worth....



Mods:

-Rebuilt s4 13b engine

w/large street port

set of falken ziek 512 tires

rebuilt ported 13b -

clutch -

pacesetter headers -

custom 2 1/2" single exhaust -

Front brake rotors -

Front Pads -

Front Left lower ball joint -

water pump -

hks intake

walbro fuel pump

added spoiler -



- adds up too a total of $6191.83 in work done which I have recepits for.



Options:

-power mirrors

-sunroof





Base model very light and has been weight reduced a little bit.



All i can think of for now... the body has around 230000kms but is in good shape the frame has no rust issues, minimal rust only on rear wheels wells but not serious just starting surface rust.

Also there is a dent on drivers side skirt.New water pump, Motor rebuilt has 5000kms on it with a new clutch as well.Recently dynoed 150RWH

2.5k usd. Mods don't mean **** when re-selling a car. Good luck though.

Internet appraisals are such an imprecise science. But I think rowtareh has pretty much nailed it, give or take $500. In fact, if the car is showing a little rust, you'll probably be lucky to get that.



The only chance you have of recouping the major part of the cost of your mods is to find an acquaintance that is stupid in love with your car and actually has the money to buy it.

Or just replace all the aftermarket stuff for OEM, then sell the aftermarket stuff. :bigok:

the discolored front bumper is what will kill you when finding someone to buy your car.

haha, i wouldnt buy a fc if it were beat up, theyre so old if the outside is that bad imagine what inside looks like, i know you say its nice but alot of people dont understand anything other than POS outside POS everywhere

Yah actually I found a buddy of mine who really wants it... he is willing too pay $4500canadian for it .... he is even thinking of somehow getting a loan.. LOL

yah they interior is not too bad just need a center counsol lid because mine has a few cuts in it.

There's not many banks that will give out loans for a car from the 80's. Good luck though. We are not bashing you at all, just giving you honest opinions, not filling your head will bullshit.

if you want to make some a little money off it or break even, turbo swap and a cheapo paint job will get you some decent cash ,because with a turbo the interior faults mean a whole lot less. youd probably end up keeping it if you did the swap though haha
