NEED HELP ON THIS,I INSTALLED THE HEADERS WICH REPLACED THE 2 PRE CATS,I HAVE A GUTTED CAT THEN THE Y PIPE.I TOOK THE CAR FOR EMISSIONS AND IT FAILED,HERE IN CT THE LIMIT IS 391....AND I FAILED @ 1091..WHAT CAT CAN I PUT ON THIS THAT WILL BOLT UP,I DONT WANT TO WELD IT BECAUSE I WANT TO PUT THE RB PRESILENCER AFTER I PASS...

PLZ HELP ME OUT ON THIS

 

If you need to pass emissions, you'd be wise to leave ALL the emissions equipment on your vehicle INTACT. You may be able to reach a passable level of hydrocarbons using a single aftermarket cat, but I wouldn't bet on it. I have a single Bonez hi-flow cat from Rotary Performance (rx7.com), but I've only got to pass a visual, not a sniffer.

 

.............WILL IT BOLT UP TO IT OR DO I HAVE TO WELD?THATS WHAT IM TRYN TO AVOID,AFTER I PASS I WANT TO PUT THE RB PRESILENCER

 

The Bonez cat has a 2-bolt flange on 2.5" dia. pipe. If you have the same flange on the header it should bolt up fine.
