86 N/a ... Looking To Purchase, Need Answers
#1
I got my eyes set on a 86 n/a 7... the body and paint are very nice. Heres the problems.
The kid thinks the motor is blown, my dad is a good rotary expert but he is asleep and I want some answers now . The kid again thinks the motor is blown. The story is that the car never smoked, or ran poorly but one day it just didnt start. Immediately I thought of the flooding issue they have, but he said he tried to de-flood the chamber. I dont know if he did it properly or not. He thought it was the battery so he had that tested and it wasnt the case. Then he took it to a mechanic and he was told it had no compression and had blown apex seals. This sounds kinda shadey to me as I've always known rotaries to smoke and run either really good or like **** before they blow. Usually the turbo models run good cause your running too much boost lol. Either way im a RX7 noob pretty much but I know how the motors operate. Some specifics would be nice.
