Did any of the turbo II cars come with an automatic? I have been talking to some of the Australian guys that are running C4 ford transmissions behind the 13b's and they are using an adaptor plate and a Turbo II auto bellhousing. I didn't know if this bellhousing was available in the states.

Thanks

Got any links or sites related to the Aussie setup you mentioned?

The guys that bought a JDM 13bt engine from Japan will have on lying around. They may even pay you to haul it off somewhere. That is the direction you need to look in.

My J-spec turbo was from an automatic.

It's a natural for a light flywheel since it already has the counterweight.

Also the torque peak & boost come in slightly sooner.

Peak HP is a little less.

I got it from http://www.rotaryworks.com

I don't have any links but I have been talking to Jon from RX engineering. He should be sending me a picture of the trans that is setup in his car this week. He is also sending me a list of what it takes to do the conversion. I'll post up the list and pics when I receive the info. I don't think I need the whole auto transmission, just the bellhousing.

Any info on the C4 tranny i.e. gear ratios? I'm converting to manual soon.

What advantages does it have over the stock manual? Curious.
