An old dude told me if I put a little 2-stoke oil in the gas it will make the engine last longer.

Anyone tried this?

ya its called premixing and you have to do it in ratios, if you are still using ur OMP(oil metering pump) then ide use anywhere from 6-8oz's of it to every fill up. Without ur OMP you can do it up to 12-14oz's every fill up. It is good for ur engine, its extra lube for it. it only works for rotaries though.

use 1 ounce premix per gallon of gas if your OMP is removed.

And remember to use TC-W3 certified two-stroke oil, not just any weedeater crap oil. This stuff is going to be going through your injectors, so it needs to be the good stuff.
