2 questions... stand alone unit, and fuel pump ground
#1
so i have an 86 n/a base model thats basicaly an s5 now minus the motor and wiring... do they make a stand alone unit for my car? and also ive done everything to the car to try and get rid of the dreaded stumble and want to try re-grounding the fuel pump... what is the best way to do so and wich wire is the ground wire outside of the tank?

A stand alone EMS will run anything you throw at it, as long as it is setup correctly.
There are quite a few you can choose from will will work with the rotaries ignition, but many cannot. So make sure that which ever one your looking at can run the ignition system.
The best way to ground the fuel pump is to run a seperate wire from the battery ground to the ground on the pump. The easiest way is to run a wire from the fuel pump ground to the chassis. I cannot remember which wire on the pump is the ground (I think it is the terminal towards the front)
