Can this be done? an LSD from an 84 GSL into an NA FC? WHat parts do i need? do i need the casing or just the gears? How much it would cost? Is it hard to swap? Also if theres a write up avaiable that i could use, thanks

it works but you only swap JUST the lsd unit.

with a mazda you're usually ok by just swapping out the diff unit, but the fsm would have you check the diff setup

To just swap out the LSD itself is a pain in the ***. You better know exactly what you are doing when doing it. I would not recommend it if you don't have the right tools and lots of time. Just find someone with a FC rear yoke with a LSD and do it that way. It is much easier and fool proof. Good luck.
