Can any body give me a price range on how much it is to install a 20b into my FD, and is it alot of work, how long does it usualy take? Is it worth all the trouble or should I just build my 13b??

 

plan on a least 6 months, and if you dont do the labor $30k

With someone else doing it take your bare motor & computer price & times by 3 at least!



I did most of the work & fab myself on mine. Totalled around $9K AUS including a $3.8K motor that was not pulled apart. I didn't get an intercooler till later.

At the same time a mate got one put in an FB by the top rotary shop here also without an intercooler drive in drive out cost him $18K AUS

without tuning cos I did that for him for nix



If I had an FD I would exploit the 13B. For the same money spent the 13B would likely be faster.



But once you've had three, two just ain't enough!

 

I used to have an excel spreadsheet with build-up costs. It had everything listed the cheap way and xpensive way, but I must have deleted it by mistake and I cant remember where the hell I found it

 

How much you got? lol and yeah, 6 months at least.
